With the intensive work and effort made against human trafficking, KIN has been able to become one of the leading organizations in Nepal. We are able to make our valuable presence almost in all southern borders which are the most vulnerable points for trafficking. Moreover, KIN has been playing an active role to build up the alliance among the like-minded governmental and nongovernmental organizations which has made it easier for us to establish the issue. We are conscious from the very beginning that mutual cooperation and collaboration has become a meaningful asset to bring out meaningful changes. Therefore, KIN has made its active presence to form district anti human trafficking coordination committee in each district and make it functional. Local authorities have appreciated such way of KIN’s working modality. In addition, the coordination has been extended across the border in different cities of India as well. Additionally, KIN has actively been involved in national level advocacy and policy influence. Recently KIN has been listed out and acknowledged by the Ministry of Women, Children and Social Welfare (MOWCSW). KIN team constantly involves in lobby and regular interaction with line ministries, relevant department and other national level Civil Society Organization (CSOs). Furthermore it has partnered with Nepal Government to initiate and expand KI activities in Sindhupalchowk, Aaptari-Chitwan and Butwal buspark.
